EMMSTech was founded in 2019 by bringing together 4 different women, from completely different life paths. For 3 years we connected with women across Stockholm and beyond, with no funding. In 2022, we're stepping up and stepping out.

A Course
for 12 participants.
An immersive 20-week course in Vue.JS
In collaboration with the Stockholm chapter of Vue Vixens

with 150+ total participants.

Scholarships
for 2 Scholarship Recipients.
We have already delivered bursaries of 10,000 SEK which has supported recipients to continue their studies in tech
Why do we exist?
67% of non-white women feel that their identity or background affects their career negatively. And there are at least 10 750 Women of Colour in the Swedish Tech market who are underrepresented, which is why we focus on women of colour.

So far, we've connected with over 1,000 WOC in Nordic tech, through our scholarships, events, workshops, and social media platform.
In 2022, that number is going to over 5,000.
